With his sculpture Shake, Jacopo Foggini breaks down form to capture the pure energy of a dynamic moment, transforming the rigidity of the cube into a suspended shower of luminous fragments. The work presents itself as a moving architecture, where a multitude of polycarbonate cubes, in shades of cobalt blue and aquamarine, seem to float in space following a sudden vibration or a silent explosion.
Light refracts between the varying densities of the hand-shaped blocks, creating an interplay of volumes and transparencies that changes depth with each glance and invites the viewer to lose themselves in an ordered and hypnotic chaos. Shake is not simply a light installation, but a celebration of matter freeing itself from gravity to become a visual emotion, bringing a sense of freshness, modernity, and infinite dynamism to the space.
